Dennings was in a romance with Nick Zano (co-star of "2 Broke Girls") in 2011 through 2014. She began dating Josh Groban shortly after they broke up. They remained together up to 2016. At the beginning of 2021, they met the singer Andrew W.K. The pair soon began to date and confirmed their engagement in the month of the May of 2021. Dennings has been a fan from 2014. Dennings, who was raised Jewish claims her beliefs in religion are not important to her. Dennings has many interests, such as gardening, reading and painting. At one point in her life she was planning to go to an art college, however the plans fell through when her entire portfolio was destroyed by a flood. It was then that she took this flood as a warning, and decided to pursue a career as an actor instead. She is a Transcendental Meditator who doesn't smoke or drink.
